Grow
In this collaboration with Bridget Parke, we explored how to fuse sculptural form in organic elements such as flowers with ceramic objects. It is an ongoing project to practice the line between the feeling of growth in solid items. I am always interested in the relationship between things. The combination of things that might look simple, each item has its own character. Still, by combining them, new feelings and new reading gets born.
Bridget studied for a Certificate III in Floristry at Melbourne Polytechnic. She works as a floral stylist and creates floral installations for venues and events. She is fascinated by the sculptural forms produced in nature. Bridget believes that the addition of flowers should never be underestimated.
