I made 'Avoider #1 and #2' a few months after I moved to Melbourne. Both 'Avoiders' were my reaction to my new life in Melbourne while comparing my freedom to the situation back in my country, Iran. I close down all my social media to not hear anything from Iran. I wished to close my eyes and live without seeing or hearing any negativity, sadness and injustice, but I knew I was only avoiding it. With Women-Life-Freedom in Iran in 2022, I now know that we were all avoiding what the Islamic Republic government were doing to us, and we were all trying to avoid them.
