The Eye (2016)
“An Eye” was an intersection between two circular forms which merge during the making process. Each circle was made on the pottery wheel and joined later on. I experienced on formal and technical aspects of this sculpture. I aimed to transfer the traditional forms made on the pottery wheel to a more uneven abstract shape that looks like a metal sculpture rather than ceramic.
