I and All (2024)
I had long hours of conversation with this sculpture. The core personality didn't want to stay upright. It was constantly bending and leaning on the other characters. It took hours and hours of support to make it "hold himself," while since I was from the basic structure, the other two knew what they were doing. "I and All" was one of the hardest sculptures from this series, both psychologically and structurally forming, but I learned a lot from it. I hope to step into a combination of 9 caricatures.
This sculpture is part of the series Feeling the Unknown; in this series, I explore how well we understand ourselves and our emotions and how courageous we are to delve into our inner selves to uncover mysterious aspects of our character. In my sculptures, I blend abstract and figurative shapes to express personal or social experiences and emotions that can't always be expressed in words. Many of these emotions are complex mixtures of different elements and feelings triggered by things happening inside and outside us.
